{If you are wondering why I am posting outfit posts or beauty posts, see my explanation here}

It seems that right when the clock struck midnight and it was Tuesday, the day after Labor Day, everyone put away their summer clothes and started wearing chunky sweaters, military boots, and fall hats (despite the 80 degree weather).

But since I am not quite willing to admit that Summer is over, I’m using my Quotation Marks scarves as socially acceptable transition pieces.

I also just love wearing the “Do Not Go Gentle” script scarf.  I think that it is a way for me to express the poetic, literary part of myself while also having fun!

Speaking of fun, how amazing are these sunglasses that my best friend bought me for my birthday??

Whenever I put them on, I instantly feel like a movie star.  Which can get a little embarrassing.

Have you started incorporating scarves into your wardrobe yet?  What are your favorite “not quite summer, not quite fall” transition pieces?

  1. I wish that fall was here so I could start pulling out my boots and scarves. But it’s been over 85 degrees here so that won’t be happening anytime soon!
